Few persons who were not VIP guests inside the venue on Sunday 28th November 2021 at 10 am when this happened - would know of it.
However, to make a very long story short, the facts you should be aware of, are these:
1 - The Prime Minister of Barbados HE Mia Amor Mottley, for the first time ever in the almost 400 recorded years of history of Barbados, invited the Amerindian indigenous diaspora community in Barbados - to provide the opening prayer, so the invitation came to us - the 100 Eagle Clan Lokono-Arawaks in Barbados, because we are the most visible, best organized, and largest Amerindian descendant group in the island. No previous Prime Minister, or Colonial era Governor had ever done such a thing before since 1627 when the island was colonized by the English.
2 - The National Prayer for Barbados which I wrote myself, was narrated in the video clip we created - in our ancient Lokono-Arawak Language by one of our greatest retired Elder Chiefs - Leyland Clenkian, of Pakuri Lokono-Arawak Autonomous Tribal Territory in Guyana. The Photos of family members that you see were all taken in Barbados.
