Welcome to my new series that I will be doing! I found a fascinating book called "Costumes of Everyday Life" by Margaret Lister. It documents costume from Europe, France, Britain and America.
In this book are many black and white drawings, which I wanted to create my own adaptations for each time period with color added. I also wanted to change the drawings a little, add backgrounds and make each garment a fashion plate that could be displayed. I feel that this could be an educational resource for all to enjoy with small tidbits of history included. This is both an educational and hobby resource.
