The new and innovative interior design of the History Museum Graz (Museum für Geschichte) is the multi-awarded architectural work of INNOCAD Architecture, a design studio working in Graz and New York.
Marting Lesjak, a creative mind behind INNOCAD, speaks about the concept - how to work in a realm of futuristic design and avant-garde architecture, to prepare an interior where the historical artifacts will be on display.
Featuring this kind of design and consistent philosophy, with not only contemporary but avant-garde design language and solutions, INNOCAD is at the forefront of creative forces in architecture, equally receiving public-choice and professional awards.
This is one part of the interview with Martin Lesjak for the exhibition video series AUSTRIAN ARCHITECTURE TODAY that will feature the most important architecture recently built in Austria. The full story about this modern interior and more complete explanation of Mr. Lesjak will come with the full version of the film that will be ready for the exhibition.
The History Museum Graz (Museum für Geschichte) belongs to a group of 18 museums from the city of Graz working together, organized by the larger institution Universalmuseum Joanneum. It is situated in Palais Herberstein, a baroque/rococo palace in the center of the oldest part of the town, under the castle.
