I have been running a guitar repair business since 1977. Within that time, I have sold and repaired several Crafters starting in the mid to late 90's. Aside from the somewhat cheesey name, some of them have been exceptional instruments, especially some of the factory 2nds I used to fix all the time for a shop in MA. I don't think Crafter sells 2nds anymore. Now I personally have many acoustics along with vintage and non-vintage Martins and Gibsons, and ALL I PLAY IS MY CRAFTER D6/N factory 2nd that was given to me. I can't believe how perfect the action and intonation are. Oddly, it has a big top crack that I repaired structurely and is totally stable now. This crack is no doubt why it was a 2nd and why it was given to me. I can't say enough good things about this D6, and I don't say that lightly either. Thanks for making this history video.

I have a 2006 d6n, very versatile stays in tune and even with old strings sounds good. I think I only paid 400 bucks for it, best find ever!

If you look closely, the title is the HISTORY of Crafter. Doesn’t say demo anywhere.
