Very interesting! In one of your videos you talked about how Iran lost the Caucasus, it would be very interesting to talk about the effects it had on Persia. What effect Abbas Mirza and Qajar emperors had on Iran (mostly their different views), the politics at that time and what lead to the constitutional revolution and what made it fail.

Georgians and Armenians didn`t wind up in Isfahan on their own. They were deported by Iranian shahs. Shah Tahmasp I raided Georgia four times (1541-1554) and deported tens of thousands of Georgia to Iran. Shah Abbas I also raided Georgia four times (1614-1617) killing more than 130,000 Georgians and driving more than 200,000 into exile to various provinces of Iran. Shah Abbas I deported more than 300,000 Armenians from Julfa and settled them in one of the new districts of Isfahan and called it New Julfa.
