Another fantastic presentation and, one that has afforded me the pleasure of visiting an historic area hitherto almost unknown to me. You certainly have a flair for producing these wonderfully interesting and historic pictorial presentations and I hope that you feel justly pleased with the results of your so obviously time-consuming labours, especially when you read the positive feedback from viewers. Thank you for sharing this real classic - I look forward to my next educational tour.

This video brought back memories of my childhood. My parents lived in Elgar street, I started Redriff primary school when I was five. I was only there for a couple of years though as we moved to Canada estate near Rotherhithe tunnel. It was great to see the old photos of Redriff school, and the ship and whale pub which was near the entrance to dock alley where I used to play when I was a kid.

Absolutely fascinating! I remember walking round Surrey docks in the 70s before they were developed and visiting a pub called The Dreadnaught.

Thanks for this, very interesting. I love to see the old photos compared to what it looks like now. My family (the Reeds) has been in this area since the 1600s. They owned Reed Wharf which was a granary.

As an ex-employee of a well know super-market that begins with "T" this was really interesting. We used to deliver to all the places that are on both of these clips.I knew there was a lot of history in Rotherhithe and it was nice to see it as it once was.Didn't realise that some of the old wharfs were used so recently.I assumed it was all blown-up during WW2 and left to rot!

Fascinating. From San Francisco, California. If you do this again or make a revision of this, you might want to include a map so foreigners know where exactly in London you are located, what direction you are heading towards. But interesting film!

Amazing that of all the pubs featured on parts one and two of this series only two remain in Rotherhithe St!!. They are The Mayflower and The Blacksmiths Arms!!. As mentioned on here there were 57 pubs in Rotherhithe Street in around the 1920s!.Now that is a really sad fact that this is no longer the case.

Good show but try to avoid the mind numbingly stupid choice of "music" next time. Also the title could do with editing.
