How fun, I moved to Wendover March of 1949. Attended elementary and Jr. High School. Met Clarence, married and we left in January, 1957 with our new baby boy Scott. It was a small town and we knew everyone there. Both our fathers worked at the Bonneville Potash plant. Wendover keeps a hold on you. Jackie

My first trip to Wendover was 1967 and raced there until 1974. What an amazing change and development. Congratulations.

I drove the length of I-80 in both directions, and my favorite stop both times was Bonneville and Wendover. Got gas and drove on the salt flats in Utah, and had lunch in Nevada.

It's a fascinating place to look at on a map or Google Earth, with its' two big casinos built right up to the very edge of Nevada so that their parking lots are in Utah. Sort of like Primm on the other side of Nevada with its' store that sells lottery tickets just barely in California.

Yes. Wendover was ALL IN UTAH. One small exception was part of the Stateline Hotel and the A-l club and cafe. Nearly everyone lived in Utah. Probably no more than 50 people lived in the Nevada side. Jackie
