Awesome video guy. I use about 35 to 40 meters which is ideal for me for Field/Woods use. Heavier weight BB for cutting through the brush too helps.

You could work on your breathing which can help with the way you zero your rifle

In general and also at times you were breathing quite fast and I could see you rifle move up and down when shooting. I'm not saying your bad though don't get me wrong

I know I can hit a man at 500 yards every time with a 5.56 rifle.. so I reckon I'm doing alright in that area, but thanks for the input.

Thanks for the video. Do you have your own qualification for an airsoft gun (especially rifle) to be considered accurate, in terms of grouping ? For me, I am just happy with 1 cm grouping on semi from 10 m distance. I think in most video, it's considered accurate, if it can hit a man size target (torso + head) from 30 m distance.

I think a good gun should be hitting a torso at about 40m, preferably 50. However being a CQB player it's not something I think about a lot, I don't often shoot at anyone more than 20m away realistically.

would a gbbr not lose fps as you use the mag make the zeroing even harder
@CKinnerley

Lose FPS by resting on the mag? I've never heard of that, if anything that makes the seal between mag and nozzle even tighter.

REMF Tacticool. I believe he meant, with every shot wont the fps get lower after the 1st shot. Compared to the last. Or do you refill the mag with the gas after every reload to make it consistent.
@CKinnerley

You'll never make a GBBr perfectly consistent, if you refilled every time the FPS would probably vary even more if anything. Not to mention the most important thing, you'll disturb (well, destroy) your shooting position and lose your aiming point by doing that. At these short ranges where you can zero an airsoft gun, combined with the fact FPS will go up as well as down, it won't matter. You can always change mag between 3-5 round groupings if you want but it won't really matter much at all.

I know this video is from 5 years ago, but why do you wait so long when releasing the trigger after firing?
@Moto.Mitch.
5 жыл бұрын
Michael - it is a technique for precision shooting in real life. It is part of the process that is used while breathing and keeping steady aim while firing. The more sudden and jerky movements, the more inconsistency there’s will be while firing(Especially with GBBR’s.

Depends on the optic. Did you watch the video? If you're hitting low, adjust down, simple as that.

why do you could it a weapon....are you going to hit someone over the head with it..it is a toy..that you run around and play with....?

Because I treat it with the same safety considerations in mind. That way when I'm in work with firearms I'm not lax with their handling. Pretty commonly understood methodology frankly.

sorry not getting this but what your saying is that playing with a airsoft toys is going to weaken your all ready harden firearms skills...
@CKinnerley
10 жыл бұрын
I'm not saying that, that's what firearms instructors the world over say. When I was in the US last year training with ARs (videos here on the channel) that's what the ex-mil/LE guys there all said. Human beings get bad habits with anything in life, you think that's impossible to happen with guns and replicas thereof? If you still don't get it.. well hey-ho, you carry on with your life and I'll carry on with mine, really doesn't matter.
