Haters like you, despising people from a safe distance in Europe while America watches your skies and keeps you safe, when asked to speak in a different language: ‘oh I don’t know it, sorry…I only know one… English because that is the international language of business and so it makes sense. Well I already speak the international language of business and don’t need to know useless Dutch. Of course you speak another language of two...your tiny ass countries are all crammed together and so different peoples are closer!! You wanna come to America and kick us where we can see you? Well then. You’ll have to traverse vast distances with nothing but English speakers, because that is how GEOGRAPHY AFFECTS LINGUISTIC DEMOGRAPHICS. I can say it again really slowly if that helps. But don’t let common sense change your mind.

@@jamesross6609 I think the joke lies more so in the perception of the American than the fact that he cant speak other languages, the perception is almost assumptive that only simple nonsensical things where being said if anything at all because it sounds like gibberish to him - to other people this comes across as very naive and arrogant at the same time, not a good combination. Joe is a nice guy, but the stereotype that other nations have about Americans are doing him no justice when applied to this clip.

I remember asking my German teacher what he said in his speeches. We more than once sat during lunch break to watch all of his speeches we could find online together and he translated key parts word per word. Once you realize what he’s saying you understand why he won. My favorite part of one of his speech is when he talks about the family unit and how family homes are a right of the people and not a luxury. Being educated is realizing everything hitler gave his German people is exactly what Americans have been begging their government to provide for them for well over the last 60 years.
