Thanks Simon for some of the most useful videos I have found. Will be building my first heli, a HK 450 GT Pro soon after years of fixed wing !! Should be interesting.

That's right. There are several ways to adjust blade deflection. I'd probably use dual rates on the transmitter as my first choice on the aileron and elevator channels. Alternatively you could use end point adjustment in the transmitter on those channels which is almost the same as dual rates. Finally you could do a mechanical adjustment and reduce the length of the servo arms. This would also reduce collective pitch available so might not be a good thing.

Very nicely explained . How do you adjust The blade deflection?. As I understand the Lower the deflection makes a more docile Bird., the higher the deflection angle the faster and agile bird. Is that right?.

Very nice explanation. Could you suggest how could I do the same with a flybarless micro heli? (mine is walkera v120d02s). I found pitch gauges for it, but I don't have a flybar to compare with. Thanks in advance.

That's great, but you only show how you confirm that your angles are correct. Useful, but it would be much more useful if you would show setting that are not correct and how to properly set them up.
