8:20 That wasn’t an affectionate kiss and she knew it. That was a “hush up and let’s pretend everything is perfect so we don’t look bad in front of the church” kiss: it was done to silence her.
@gwynk78

You’re right. I think the producers knew it too. And they called it “affectionate” to get past censors and also not to cause a narcissistic injury on the husband. And then they bounced the dude! IDK that I’ve seen someone edged out so efficiently. I feel like maybe Margree knew the easiest way to get her reverend husband out of her life was to first surround herself with a camera crew and then show it on national television.
@burlykim132

It was but she already had her mind made up. She flat out admitted IMMEDIATELY after that she was done. SHE was the one that was already out, not him, right or wrong (I’m not making any judgment 9; that, just saying that is the reality, not the “man is villain” narrative you’re saying). Ffs it’s like yo7 ladies completely ignored that he came and she said “I gave up”. I’m a woman, and I despise when women overlook women destroying their relationships and still blaming men for it. When she said tha5 you could see the hurt all over his face. Then she admits how serious the hoarding was…but man you want to ignore all of what she said and focus on him.

I was horrified that the doctor and Dorothy let that slide! My only consolation is that this is an extremely edited version. That "affectionate move" may have been addressed in the original. Imagine wanting to be with someone but their stuff is put above your needs every time. She wouldn't move clothes because 'it was here first'. Her things were more important than having her husband at home with her. He was already checking out of the relationship because it was never good to begin with. Hoarding is a horrible disorder that people have to deal with but that doesn't excuse how they treat people they're suppose to love. I'm not surprised that they fell apart.

Sometimes they only acknowledge their own problem when it gets absolutely out of hand. Usually when nobody else is around to make things a bit more practical. When I lost my Grammy, I felt very empty without her hair. She was with me since the day I was born she got to hold me change my diaper. She watched me grow as a beautiful young woman. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. Go to her house on Christmas Day last Christmas, my heart is broke and I miss my Grammy at her house because she always was happy to see everybody. I watch my Grammy die on me my Grammy had lung cancer and 13 underlying condition on July 31, 2023. My Grammy passed away not really hit me so hard going to her house to say my last goodbyes. I watched the nurse put the white sheet over her head. I had nightmares plenty ofnight, I wake up crying bawling can’t stop I had a heart time on my first birthday without my Grammy’s phone call singing to me have a beautiful singing voice. It broke me to pieces. Grammy was 86 years old when she passed away. at my church I signed up for grief share it really help me. The class was for 13 weeks. I’m so glad I took it now now I can move forward and now when I talk about my Grammy, I don’t cry anymore. I think about all the happy times with my Grammy my Grammy wants me to be happy. She don’t want me to cry July 31. Yes, I will cry. It’s beyond biased. It’s LUNACY AND DELUSION. The Reverend didn’t have a place to put his clothing! Yet he showed up and said he wanted to save things. SHE was the one who said she gave up, and that she was already gone and that she didn’t realize how bad her hoarding was. Yet somehow it’s his fault!?! Like the second husband stated…how do you pay $6000/month for a mortgage and there’s no room for you in the house!?! Second mom had a clearly favourite child and her husband has to live somewhere else half the year?? How is that fair?? It’s nuts that women will defend other women when they’re clearly in the WRONG! First woman should never have been in a relationship in the first place as she wasn’t healthy enough to be! I’m all for women, but I’m also more for right and fairness. The women here aren’t fair, and neither are these deluded comments.

"poor guy"? He's abusive. He knew what her house was like when he married her. He just wanted to control her. Her stuff protected her.

Something very strange going on with Claudie and Jim. I felt so bad for her, letting him walk all over her like that. Especially when he said the Lord will provide for her.. really got the sense he really wasn't thinking about her at all.

The Lord will hopefully provide her a new husband who thinks of someone besides himself
