A clip from episode 472 of My Brother, My Brother, and Me. This audio comes from the podcast My Brother, My Brother, and Me and belongs to the McElroy brothers.
I couldn't go see Hobbs and Shaw in cinema, 4DX or no, because I knew I'd be shouting "KISS HIM, YOU FOOL" at inappropriate moments.

5DXXX is just live theater again, 6DXXXX is the black and white train that comes towards the camera and everybody ducks. History repeats on a continuous loop just with more and more X's and higher numbers.

It must have been different in New York, since I went to the Regal theater see Into the Spiderverse with the family, for the first time, unspoiled, in 4D, and it genuinely may have been one of the best and immersive cinematic experiences I’ve ever had. There were no boxes to put your hand in, it was like a regular movie seat just a bit raised, and when the movie began even though it was a bit rough sometimes, it was incredible. Even the “punched” back feeling wasn’t bad and when a scene would play outside or on rooftops the air would literally change and feel like cold drafty air. I guess it helps when you watch a good movie, with a good soundtrack, and entertaining fight scenes

@@-Unidentified_Comment- no I don't think there was any sort of actual arm box on the real seats, Griffin's joke was what if the next level, 5DX, had the gom jabbar arm box from Dune? It was a Dune reference, not a reference to something they actually did

I’m like 90% sure I read a horror story like this when I was a kid but I can’t for the life of me remember what it was
@rileysheehan943

I think it was in one of those Campfire Weenies books, this kid snuck into this immersive horror movie and everyone else had these headbands that they could adjust how much they felt what happened in the movie. So when it got to the first scene everyone was turning it down but since he snuck in he didn't have a headband so he just had to sit and feel the pain
