What size is this? I have an eight foot ceiling in the basement so I guess I should go with the 7 foot tall one?

I had one of those like metal pipes in the bottom of my shooting tarp and it was horrible because every time i hit it it would get huge dents and after like 2 weeks of having it in there it just cracked and eventually snapped, the wooden one seems better

Good to know! Maybe the wood is the way to go then

@@JeremyWeiss Thanks for the follow up! We're in the process of closing on a house now and can't wait to get one of these set-up in the garage in a couple weeks! Thanks again for the video and great installation guide

Are the puck bouncing around a lot? I'm wondering if you had to put something on the left, and right of it to protect your walls there? I'm thinking of installing this in my garage but my walls are white so I can't have bouncing pucks go there. From looking at you go here, they don't seem to bounce a lot but I'm curious about what you have to say on that.

No - the pucks barely bounce at all. There's no ricochet. I can't make any promises for your situation. But for me, as long as I'm shooting straight on, the pucks that don't go in drop right at the base of the tarp.

nice... what are you going to do with the old one? I have that same dilemma.. I so want to have this one but I might move the other tarp into the garage and put the new one in the basement... the new design looks awesome doesn't it?

The new design is sweet! I might put my other one on the wall opposite the sport screen, so the entire shooting gallery would be enclosed. That would add another shooting station for the kids, who always manage to hit each other with their shots. Haha

This vid was from a while ago. HockeyShot has changed all their coupon codes. If you get on their list they send new codes quite often!

I have the old tarp and it's going down the shitter. Currently has two major tears… Is this tarp more durable than the SnipersEdge?
@JeremyWeiss

I'd say it's about the same durability as the sniper's edge. I'm surprised you've had issues with the sniper's edge, I've had it for a few years, and have no tears at all.

Jeremy Weiss I've had the SnipersEdge for a little over 14 months now. I shoot an estimated 50-100 pucks a day and got a decent shot. I'm surprised the black stitching on yours hadn't ripped off the pockets. That was the first thing of mine to go, tried a tape repair and that didn't hold up to well. Haha

Jeremy Weiss Quite understandable. What would you reccomend I do though? I really can't and won't spend another $200+ for another tarp to only last me 14 mos.

Do you have space for a real goal? Hockeyshot has a tournament goal that's pretty good-very sturdy and the posts won't dent. Use the old tarp as a backstop :)
