Haha good one Mr T! I remember the pressure cooker in my granny's house ... it made fearsome rattling noises and looked like a bomb about to detonate😂.

I remember when ours exploded stew all over the kitchen ceiling! My insanely abusive parents just stared at the ceiling in shock. My 7 year old self just watched the stalactite drips of meat and potatoes plopping onto the floor and laughed and laughed as frankly I revelled in any small revenges that came my way. Bread and butter for dinner that night though.

I remember those pressure cookers. I refuse to have one in my home and don't trust the modern Instapot either. My grandfather's pressure cooker exploded one day right after i had walked past the stove and out of the kitchen. The door was still swinging when there was a huge blast followed by a horrible crashing noise. The blast was the lid blowing off and then crashing back down into the stove top. The stove and floor were easily cleaned up, but it left a dent in the harvest gold stove top. Getting the chicken off the ceiling was a bit more work that required a 10-foot ladder, a spatula, and a set of pliers. We never did get the stain off the ceiling or the holes filled. I looked up at that every time I walked into that kitchen and remembered just how close I came to dieing that day.

My gran had one, not sure why they were popular. Steam pans are great though, any veg ready in ten minutes. Why would you want to pressure cook sprouts for four hours????

I was a young man in my 20s during the 1970s disco era and had the clothes to prove it. Plaid polyester bell bottom pants with a deep yellow shirt, extended cuffs, and a huge collar. A Levi brand denim leasure suit which was the cat's meow on the dance floor. With my plastic high-heeled disco half boots with the zipper on the side and my gold chain with the little gold spoon hanging on it (I didn't know what that was for until later), I was down and hip to the scene, knowwhatImean?

Fashions for unmarried women over 30.! I feel my chances of meeting a woman in a hocus focus hoodie are low but at least when I do I will know she is the one!

Any plans on producing a range of fire proof camping equipment? I would love a monogramed tent that can survive a few nights next to an erupting volcano or equivalent. Anyone know if there is a IP equivalent rating system for volcanic eruptions and meteor impacts?
