The one theory on Hoffa that makes the most sense to me is the one that he was killed in a house near the Red Fox, taken to a local funeral home and cremated. Ashes dumped in local body of water. No body, no crime.

Family was from the Detroit area back in the day, I think Westland. I remember when I was younger my dad telling a story about my grandfather who was in the teamsters during this time, he passed before I was born never knew him and my family never really talked about him much. I was told that shortly after Hoffa was killed or before; it was 20ish years ago I can’t remember which, but he got a bullet sent to him in the mail and a note just saying “stop”. Afterwards he quit and cut ties with all his friends from the union. No idea if any of this is true or what the reason for it was but it always made me curious about Hoffa and the whole story. Personally I just hope if someone does know for a fact where the body is or if there is one is that they make a deathbed confession at least so he can be properly rested and his surviving family can have some sense of closure and knowledge. Saint, sinner and everything in between deserve that much.

I would say you are correct with they wanna get rid of the body as fast as they can. If you drag it across statelines you risk getting charges in those states as well. But like in Chicago with the mob and stuff, their dumping grounds were in a radius of the city or in the city limits. The only way I see them getting away with it is if they stuff them in a barrel somewhere or something else. But with so much land, water and other options in the area, I just don't see them taking it somewhere else that far.

I think the fascination with Hoffa is a couple of things. Like Kennedy, his disappearance leaves the door wide open for conspiracy theories. With Hoffa, however, his killing was not filmed, so the theories can have a broad range, all the way from Florida to California. He was also a very public figure. Having a guy like that just vanish off the face of the Earth is very unusual, even unsettling. And people love a mystery that they can speculate about, whether its Jimmy Hoffa or the Loch Ness Monster. More than likely he was killed in Michigan, probably not too far from where they picked him up. And it could have been anywhere, someone's basement, an abandoned warehouse. And the body was probably disposed of not far from that. Even if its just a ten mile radius that is still over 6000 acres and more than a million places to put a body.

My thought is that in killing a guy as well known as Hoffa, why leave a body that could potentially at some point be found? I've seen it pointed out that one or other of the Detroit guys, whether the Giacalone brothers or someone else, either owned or had control of an incinerator company in the Detroit area. You get rid of him that way then there's no body to ever worry about again.

I remember you saying something like Hoffa's body was somewhere "very dark and wet". That made it sound like you knew the actual location but I can see that being something of a generalized statement too, so maybe it just sounds more "precise" than you meant for it to.

I still live in the Detroit area my uncle used to play racketball and basketball with Jimmy Hoffa at Bloomfield country club. My uncle Salvatore Agro left New York and had 2 brothers who were in the life but I never met with the names Michael Agro and Tommy Agro he never talked about them much, but know Michael Agro is now in Assisted care in Buffallo, New York. No idea what happened to Tommy Agro my family doesn't talk much about them and kinda ignore the subject.

I live in Michigan and never believed the story about Hoffa being buried in the Meadowlands. I think he's probably part of an off ramp or overpass on one of the expressways around Detroit.

“I don’t know where the body is” sounds like something someone would say when they know where the body is

I had a hockey coach as a kid here in Texas and he moved off to Chicago. Within two months he told my mom to never contact him because had had joined a "family" in his own words. But now as a grown man, here in Texas, we got gang life all over, from MS, to MM, to AB. I got involved in BP as a kid, but I got out. We would get jumped in for 4 seconds, but the count was up to who was counting..... it could last actual 4 seconds or 4 minutes. Mine was a minute. I got in at 12, got out at 18 because I got locked up, came out and said I'm done. I don't even know if BP is still around. Quit hanging out with them when I got out. Then my cousin became MM, and my best Friend became AB, and then I got locked up again, so I refused to pick a side. I'm a half breed. I was done with gang life and still am. I was a dealer, so fuck that. My rules were, I'm just gonna make money, no violence. Violence did happen. It was a mother fuck. But I'm glad I'm out of street shit.

A bit of a random question but have you thought about interviewing or make an episode with people like Bobby Cummines (OBE) or Mark Silverman? I think both of them have interesting backgrounds especially Bobby cummines and I think you share alot of common ground about society with him.
