hey Pat..could I add the milk mixture to it before cooling..maybe a touch of vanilla..? I know it's a variation, but maybe it'll work? great recipe

I haven't tried this with agar agar but that would be interesting. I think it would go well as agar is made from red algae, which makes it a popular vegetarian substitute for gelatin. How about you? Would you give it a try? :)

So what is the difference between hojicha and black tea?

Black tea comes from the Camellia sinensis, it's more oxidized than Oolong team, yellow and green tea, the leaves are dark brown, while hojicha is japanese green tea, it is roasted in a porcelain pot over charcoal, whereas most Japanese teas are steamed:)

@@alldayieatlikeashark Oolong is my favorite, but I get it in a bottle from Itoen. I have never had hojicha. I was thinking of trying to get some "au lait" type to try.
