Agree I got the Boston 12 on sale in Canada and you can't beat this shoes at sale price. You can find them at the Adidas outlet sometimes. I'm guessing the toebox on the Boston is more accommodating then the Hoka which to me is another big selling point. Upper needs a bit of tweaking but its definitely not a deal breaker.

Tried the Boston last fall, sent it back after 2 runs. This spring I Saw a pair of Bostons in a color I could not resist so tried again in half size smaller (because looks are the most important thing) - after 2 runs it became my favorite shoe for all things running.

I've heard a lot of great things about the Boston 12 from a lot of different sources, so I finally decided to get a pair. Took them out for a first run and ended up with a hole in the upper. I'll admit that I do have a "pointy" big toe, and have done damage to uppers before, but usually after a couple hundred km's, not after a first run. It makes me wonder if anyone else has had issues with the upper coming apart, because that really shouldn't happen after 1 run. Anyway, I was able to return them and picked up a pair of Endorphin Speed 4's instead.

Only time I have ever had this was a triumph 20 but they were a bit small, I now make sure big toes nails are nice and short and after feeling my big toes lift on stride actively try to wiggle toes when running and keep control of toe curl. Good look 👀… oh there is some tape for inside the toe box you can buy for stopping the happening in running shoes, can’t remember what it’s called though

I've heard a few reviewers call the Boston 12 a superb shoe with a subpar upper.

I've not had any wear issues from my upper but I concur that the upper is probably not one of the best out there. I dislike the laces and find the upper not as easy as some to get a good lockdown. I used to love the uppers in the old Adizero line such as the Adios 4.

To follow-up on my initial comment, I can confirm that Endorphin Speed 4 > Boston 12... and not just because the upper doesn't fall apart! ;)

I replaced the Boston laces with the lock laces and they are now easy to get on.

I still think the boston 12 is the best do it all shoe out there and it does get praise but when anything new and flashy comes out that somehow ultimately beats it weird lol

I don’t think i can buy any more adidas shoes that take 15 minutes to get on properly. Love them when they are set up perfectly but the forefoot pressure is the most annoying fitment issue. I can deal with a little heel slip if the forefoot is locked down. I want new balance upper from the rebel v2 or the hoka mach 4 or 5 with an adidas midsole would be my dream shoe.

Put about 150 miles on my mach 6s so far, absolutely fantastic shoe, hoka crushed it with this one.

I've got quite a wide forefoot. I had to go half a size up in the Boston 12. The Boston 12 and Mach 6 have slightly different toe springs: The Mach 6 is slightly more pronounced where as the Boston 12 has quite a late/forward toe spring. I found the transition much better in the Mach 6 but both generally don't have the roll of the Mach X and Endorphin Speed.

No quite the opposite. I find it eases my PF issues. 😂 crazy how we all have different experiences with these shoes. Just ran 35 km in the bostons at the weekend and apart from one toe blister they were really amazing.

Recently picked up a pair of Boston’s 12 and superblast, Boston’s 12 is amazing shoe and worth all accolades it gets, superblast ? Is ok, does not live up to its hype and accolades. Sadly 😢

i loved the 10's and the 11's for hteir firmness and run feel. I bought the 12's and find my tempo/threshold sessions really hard with them. any ideas why??

I've been surprised by the Mach 6, using it, as Nick described, for easy and long runs. It does work fine for faster runs, but I prefer my ES3s for those sessions. I have it in wide fitting, and the toe box Is a little roomier than typical standard-width shoes (like Mach 5 or ES3). Very comfortable shoes, and the foam doesn't bottom out like the Mach 5 after 7-8 miles.

I've got the Boston for interval sessions in a rotation with the superblast for long runs and the tempus for easy recovery runs. I am actually very happy with that rotation. The boston is a really amazing shoe, as is the superblast. Those 2 are really standing out. (The tempus is ok, but that will prolly get swapped, i want a second pair of superblasts, they are that good)

I love my Boston 12's but get lace bite, had to start running with them very loose, I was interested in the adidas pro 3 but I've been put off them because of the Boston lace issues... unless you think the pro 3 don't have this issue?

I had the same issue, so much so that I had bruises on top of my feet after my first run in the Boston 12. I ended up sending them back.

I have both, and I felt Mach 6 is a much better fit for me (Heavy set runnner). The upper slip-on feel is horrible on B12, I dont look forward to wearing it, although I do love running on it.
