I received mine today, 15km with 05:20/km for the first ride out of the box and it felt fantastic, I love them. Really comfortable, really protective, fun ride with low heart rate. Surprise of the year for me so far. If you are a heavy runner, definitely give it a try.

I did my first run in these day. I'm a heavy (and old) runner, so I try and do most of my runs in a shoe that gives me a bit of cushioning. Novablast 1-3 were great (4 not so much) and the Invincible Runs were great - but did't last more than 350km for me. It's a tall shoe and when you first put them on, you feel the height. I was surprised that I didn't feel that super soft bounce that the Invincible Runs have, it's much firmer and more controlled. Once you set off (and I'm a solid 6:30/km easy runner) the mechanics of the foams and plate kick in and I noticed I was running a little faster at a lower HR. I did about 9km in it and finished feeling pretty good. I take an 11 too and have a fairly wide foot. I found the toe box ok, but a little cramped in the middle, but not uncomfortable, but just aware of the shoe at the end of the run. Pretty happy with it, looking forward to breaking it in some more.

@@EDDBUD definitely some great shoes.... I suppose it comes down to a matter of opinion but the only shoe that has been best for a specific 'type of run' has been the speedgoat. If you're spending that type of money on the rocket x2 you will pick the alphafly, vaporfly, endorphin elite, pro, the list goes on and on. If you're spending silly money for a shoe in the boat/ recovery category then we have the superblast, NB more 4, kinvara pro, prime x (all of which sound lighter and more versatile). So unless you're sent this one for free then you're likely to go to another brand. I'll call it a flop but time will tell. 👍
