I was born in Tela, barrio paraiso. Raised in Brooklyn. Loved your video. Haven't seen my town in many years. My view is not unbiased, but Hondurans are beautiful. Everyone expects certain look. There are black, white and even Asian Hondurans. The food is great. Will show this to my American daughter. Explore Garifuna culture. A complicated history. Careful with the gifuiti. The tribal one has certain properties. Mixed with plants that can make you hallucinate. But only the tribal one. The store bought or vendor one is safe. Enjoy sir!

I recommend Copan Ruinas if you get a chance and also the jungle tours offered by Omega Tours which is located south of La Ceiba. Anyway, I appreciate what you do my dude, you have definitely been a major influence on my decision to leave the states to travel. Safe travels Sly!

My wife and I vacationed in Tela way back in 1997 we loved it. I can`t remember the name of the hotel but it was on a beach about a mile from the town. I remember a hotel next to ours built on stilts. I remember a place in Tela named Sara`s Boarding house. We did a tour to Pulhapnazak water fall . We loved our time in Tela and we loved Honduras too .

Native Teleno here, best beach to visit in Tela is called "La Ensenada" its hidden. The further down the coastline you walk from the pier the more exclusive resorts you will encounter, meaning resorts beaches for the rich. There you will see yachts and mansions. But the lit places is the "Boulevard Coasteno" which where you were filming. Best time to party is night time during Easter holiday or spring break. Also mid June for the festivals and carnivals. The biggest carnival in all Central America is only an hour away in a town called "La Ceiba". Hope you enjoy

Bachata has an explanation: besides being an agreeable rythem to the ears. Bachata from El Torito is nice and Hondurans are in gratitude with him coz he befriended the president that ended up in Dominican republic after the political coup In Honduras. @slyslife
2 жыл бұрын
I learned the basics in high school and then learned a lot more in Colombia (roughly 2 - 4 years or so on and off). If you study about 20 - 30 minutes a day (non-stop) you'll learn quicker. It all depends on your consistency.
@ramakrishnashalom9004

@@slyslife Learn from were though? I don't have the luxury of living in Columbia. Thanks for replying I asked a few other brothers on youtube visiting Spanish speaking countries how did they learn Spanish and those fools never responded.
@slyslife
2 жыл бұрын
@@ramakrishnashalom9004 Before going to Colombia, I practiced a lot on my own. I would Google "free Spanish beginner course" online and read those. I also created flash cards, watched Netflix movies in Spanish, and listened to beginner-Spanish podcasts while driving to work in the morning. There are many free Spanish courses and exercises online. The hard part is sticking to them because self-study can become boring and mundane.
