I live in Hollywood near Melrose and seeing how different Hollywood and vine looks to now just makes me sad how most of those things don’t exist anymore

What would you say the biggest change is and why does it look different now?

Some of these buildings were destroyed during the 1992 LA riots. Sad!

Lived on Highland just north of Hollywood Blvd and hung out there every day in the late 80s. That was the golden age. Today it's all herds of tourists homeless hepatitis smelly superheroes and CD selling charlatans.

Cool. I used to work in the building at 4:49 at the NW corner of Hollywood and Hyland address 1717 no. Hyland ave. on the 7th floor. A tall silver and white building. It was a magazine company, what a joke it was. They never got the magazine off of ground. Today, it looks different totally remodeled. I wonder what ever happened to the three clowns that tried to advertise this magazine.

If anyone is looking at this who wasn't around in those days before they built the Kodak, now something else, Theatre, you may notice that there was a little side street that they ended up closing and building over along with a big Parking lot and on the corner of Hollywood and Highland a big building that they tore down to make all of what we see today at that location. I think it was a good build and revised that area. It was very run down and scummy before they revitalized Hollywood Blvd. Growing up in Hollywood and the San Fernando Valley it would be very weird to me to go back during these criminal Lockdowns..
