@@juliusway :) looks like the little mic infront of the guitar is like a portable field recorder such as a tascam or zoom recorder :) they have 2 little condenser microphones on them. I could be wrong however!

@@brandoncostner7437 It's a Lowden. They're handmade guitar made by this guy in the UK. Starts at 5000 pounds though. Ed Sheeran uses one. So do Snow Patrol.

Exactly what I'm looking for actually. Something that just creates that atmosphere without totally wrecking the musicality and becoming uncontrollable. Right now I'm using two reverbs and two delays to achieve something akin to this lol. Think it's switch out time.

I'm toying with a similar thing on acoustic. Trying to have textural stuff going on underneath what I'm playing, without getting mushy or getting in the way, that amd possible creating little bits to bridge between songs

Very nice pad behind the guitar. I'm also impressed by how well the Zoom recorded the guitar. I have found it tricky to get good acoustic recordings.

I use Oktava mics a good bit too, however, the Zoom is just so convenient. I have found it works well if you position it 12"-15" away from the guitar pointing at the spot when the neck joins the body. Thanks!

Short, sweet and wonderful. I’ve had my eye on the Hologram for a while now so this was very timely. The particular sound you had dialed in was the perfect compliment for the acoustic, but what really just stood me up was the guitar piece itself; beautiful kind of a call and response on the main melody line. There’s so much there...

I have one of these and I know you can with minimal effort make beautiful sounds from pretty much any source. This video however makes it very clear that if the source is also well played beautiful music, it also enhances that by the same factor. Well played, sounds magic.

I am extremely biased toward the Lowden, but I agree that it sounds very, very nice! But - I do have to say that those little Zoom recorders can sound surprisingly good.

Yes! Don't know why this didn't reach my feed sooner! The pedal that won't stop surprising you. Mosaic is my favorite of all the effects on the Microcosm - but I hadn't experimented with an acoustic yet! Beautiful!

Personally, I'm not a fan of the pedal's effects.. but for that style/genre, I think it did a stellar job. I am however, a massively inspired fan of that guitar! The tones and characteristics of Lowden acoustics are already in their own league of exclusivity and greatness.. and your spruce/koa model sounds truly special! Great playing, sir.. keep creating!
