@@johnronsmith haha of course, or 7121 if you're dealing with horsepower and Nm. If you do PROPER units, so power in watts and torque in Newton*meter, and rpm as radians per second, then it becomes the beautiful power = torque * speed, without any constants.

An old 75 would have no problem in a tractor pull. There are old photos of these machines literally pulling trains of wagons in applications like logging.

They were literally designed to pull unimaginable loads up shitty mountain roads. They'll outpull p.much anything on a modern tractor pull track. MAy take a while to do it bu they'll do it.

What a great machine. I do have a some questions though. How can the front wheel and the tracks work together? If you throw the steering wheel hard over, would the tracks not keep her going in the straight line? And if the tracks also steer, would the front steering wheel be superfluous?

Doesn't actually steer through front wheel. Like a tractor, steering through drive wheels/tracks. You do need to turn the front wheel to avoid scrubbing.

The poor guy is morbidly obese. He'll never live to be as old as that tractor. It will take heavy equipment to move him around when he can't walk anymore. Sad.

Hell, both sides of my family throw late 80s as early "unexpected" deaths with loads of 90s and 100s and I still don't expect to live to almost 110 years old (Holt 75s are quite old machines) because it is statistically so rare.

With 4 cylinders the size of trashcans, it's no surprise that this beast could pull down a building!!🤣 The Holt 120 6 cylinder would probably run with that sled.😁👍

@Kathleen Shaw Heh heh, pretty cool.. even the largest John Deere twin cyl. only had a 6.125x8.00 in. bore and stroke and displaced about 470 cu.in. That Holt has to be 2000+ cubes with a 8" or so bore and a 20" stroke.😮

Try not to judge Rick. We all have weaknesses and different medical conditions. Some are visible and some aren't. I know many skinny people that are couch potato's. At least that gentleman is doing something and as a result, we get to enjoy what he has with him.

1 HP =33,000 lb/ft of work per minute. Holt 75 = 75 HP. 75 x 33,000 = 2,475,000 pounds feet per minute. That's a lot of torque at that RPM.
