True, Diane Warren who wrote this has had 12 Oscar nominated songs and not yet won with any of them, despite many, including this one, having stood the test of time far better than the songs that beat them. In 1996 she wrote 'Because you loved me' sung by Celine Dion, in 1997 she wrote 'How do I live' sung by Leanne Rimes (which lost to Celine Dion singing My heart will go on) and in 1998 she wrote this, which lost to 'When you Believe' from the The Prince of Egypt. No I don't remember it either I had to look it up.

This song can be perceived in several ways. As lovers to each other, and as a parent to a child, or grand parent to grand child. It makes me want to hug my grandson.

You have great taste Amber. Aerosmith has long been in my top 5! Steven Victor Tallorico (akaTyler) is from Boston area. Saw them 5 times. His moniker is “The Demon of Screamin’” 🎤at age 73 he is still belting it out with his same fashion flair and black painted nails but now he has people who call him grandpa. Huge props to these guys for being together for over 5 decades🎵🎶🎸

Very new to your channel.. Love what I'm seeing.. and as a Mom of an almost 40&35 year old... You never are far away from your kids..my girls rented the townhouse across the parking lot from me.. a year ago they moved and went their own ways... One is 2 blocks away... The other is 5 mins away.. I am truly BLESSED... And I'm sure you will also be BLESSED and always have your children close by!

For Amber, looking for another Aerosmith love song, try "Angel". Also, you should check out the historic cover/collaboration with Run DMC doing "Walk This Way", which was originally a hit for Aerosmith in the 70's.
