Here I am brewing my 5th batch of beer using the Brew-In-A-Bag method. It's an American IPA brewed with 15 LBs of Maris Otter, Vienna Malt, Cara-Pils, and Caramel/Crystal Malt grain. I added 3 oz of Centennial hops at various times during the boil. I plan to dry hop with another oz of Centennial and an oz of Cascade hops. Then, to make it unique, I might add a little bit of pineapple extract in the secondary.
My 4th batch came out a gallon short (4 GAL), so I tried to increase the volume to 5 GAL. I ended up overflowing my 6 GAL primary carboy. Mistakes happen, but that's how we learn, i guess. I hate to see good beer spilled.
