Such a cute video. I got a King’s cake one time and it only had the colored sugar too. Btw, I got the baby! Just a cute little baby. Looked like fun. You could see that Chance knew what he was doing (as well as Tim). Yum! 😍😄

When you boil okra don't cut the head off and it won't be slimy. I like to fry mine. Cut it in circles about 1/4 inch have a plate with flour and corn mill. Fry to a golden brown. I enjoy your reactions very much. ❤😂😮😅😊😊

Here in Minnesota, we call them crayfish. I've never sent any big ones. We would find them under the rocks at the lakes. Thanks for your reactions!

These HAFH are always fun to see. I know Tim is a big foodie but he doesn't seem to put on any weight. Maybe because he gave up drinking a few years ago. I am not a big seafood lover but might give these a try. I like that they released one of the little guys to live another day.

We used to catch Crawdads in the creek. I’m assuming they’re the same thing. We dug them out of the creek bank. The creek (branch) separated our property from my grandparents’ property. That’s Tim’s sister and BIL. Jenika is from up north somewhere.

Yes, my favorite! I tried to cook up some of our Tennessee crawfish but they are not nearly as meaty as the Cajun Louisiana crawfish! I think they may be a different branch of crawfish! They look the same but maybe they are more kin to a lobster, just not as large! They sure are good whatever they are. Tennessee friend, low bass Kenneth

I beg to differ, Monkfish is nothing like lobster. I don't even care for Monkfish. Love lobster, crawfish, crab, shrimp, scallops, and most fish(walleye, opah, onaga, opakapaka, halibut, grouper, Ono, to name a few). I don't care for most salmon except I love Copper River Salmon from Alaska. Sadly, I developed a recent allergy to fish/shellfish.😢

Crawfish, Crayfish, Crawdads, Mudbugs - all the same. It is a regional thing. Growing up in northern Connecticut, Crayfish and Crawfish were interchangeable, sometimes in the same sentence. Actually, Crayfish was used as a plural for Crawfish or Crawdads.

HAPPY HOME FRYDAY!!! We call 'em crawdads. (At least this Okie does.) I've only attended one boil, down in Houston. I was chicken and didn't eat any crawdads (I was afraid it would taste muddy), but I chowed down on the shrimp (already peeled), corn on the cob, and potatoes! The cook used Old Bay for seasoning. Dang, now I'm hungry!

Never ate so many of 'em really, maybe 2 or 3 times - "just because". Always knew 'em as Crawcrabs/Crawdads but later learned in Elementary/Grade School they were crayfish : ) But grew up catching for fun or fish-bait. Have seen 'em get quite large (ie, 10in or so) and most large I've seen have a blue hue to 'em! I'm in WV, so to me crayfish ya might get outta creeks; crawcrabs/crawdads ya get outta cricks n rivers! Oh, and Jeremy bud ... for a "Boil" you pre-clean them by salting the water and change it out (water and rinse) a few times (salting each time) to clean the "vein". Enjoyed that -- esp. the color in Ninja's face : ) -------- Oh yeah, there are "soft-shell" crawdads too ... they have a pearl in 'em! Be Safe

This is such a fun video! I'm Canadian & I've never even seen a crawfish or any of the spice things they bought to cook them with. BTW, I just read an announcement from Home Free that Adam Bell-Bastien will be taking Austin's place in July (with his first appearance with them being at the Grand Ol' Opry). It said that he'd been with the band prior to 2013. I empathize with you, I can't have shellfish either.
