The guys did a great job of this Johnny Cash cover. Made it into a jazzy blues style. And they all look like some sort of criminals especially Tim & Adam. Remember this was done during quarantine so none of them were physically together. They were very creative during that time. Love the background train noises. Adam's beatboxing is crazy good & so is Tim's low notes.

My baby boy took me to see a Highwaymen concert (Johnny, Waylon, Willie and Kris) back around 1990. Huge thrill. My son was a veteran of concert behavior, and ...by the end of the show....he had us right up front..not far from where June Carter was. Great show....great memory.

Johnny's what you grew up with so, so your gonna love what you know and nothing compares, however, I really love what Home Free did with this acapella, they added a beat, and a groove to it. they are very versatile, one thing I love about them. If you want more country sound check out "In The Blood", which was written by John Mayer, but they made it sound very country. check out "I Can't Outrun You" (Trace Adkins) Chance sings lead. "Delta Dawn", with Home Free & Brooke Eden. "Country Roads Take Me Home", (John Denver) and for some funny country check out Tim's original "Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget", and "Thank God I'm A Country Boy", (John Denver) or Mississippi Squirrel Revival (Ray Stevens).

I know exactly why you are impressed with them a I am the same just a year or two more into them. You'll catch up as these guys keep you wanting to hear more. On their cover of iconic songs they never "Ruin" them and many time upgrade them. The biggest criticism is sometimes the song is too short. Leaves you wanting more. One cover and collaboration where the do a full version of the original song with the original artist is "American Pie" with Don McLean. Don not only did it with them he was the one to suggest they do the cover with him to celebrate the song's 50th year anniversary. A masterpiece cover or a masterpiece in my opinion.

Bass notes caused pacemaker to stop. 3. Rob - Grand theft... Hijacked a Twinkie truck. 4. Adam C. - Armed robbery... Stole 500 gal of hair product for this video. 5. I do like that way Tim has of stepping in towards the end of a song like "DADDY'S HOME". Although in "I Want Crazy" (different song from "Crazy"), when he punches through the mix at the end, I keep picturing the Kool-Aid Man). I'm pretty sure Chance has some "Tim notes" up his sleeve that he tends not to deploy, but I repeat, TIM IS THE LORD THY FOUST AND THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER TIMS BEFORE HIM. Speaking of the Kool-Aid Man, to see Tim actually say "Oh yeah!" I have to recommend the video for "9 to 5".

It's all good. It's the first time I've heard their version. I lived in Reno for several years and one of my favorite cousins lived only a couple of miles from Folsom. His buddies were some of the Hell's Angels. When younger, I ran around with a wild crowd but grew up before I got caught. Then I joined the U.S. Marines and ordered me to M.P. School and I worked as a ''brig pig' for 3 and a half years, hating every day, except for a few occasions where I made a difference in someone's life. One of the best videos you can ever watch is Bill Moyer's "Amazing Grace" where they interview Johnny Cash after his concert at Folsom Prison. He said "I've never done hard time in a prison but we all have prisons in our own minds, whether it be drugs, alcohol or whatever and this song can work miracles." Or something very close to that. When he wrote Folsom Prison, he felt he was a prisoner in the U.S. Army.
