May I add…”Angels We Have Heard On High “, a sophisticated and beautiful arrangement…. And Home Free in 2013 at the Hosanna concert doing their version of “ Joy to the World”, a jazzy, gospel arrangement with an off the charts solo by Rob(heavy beard). After Christmas, I suggest “End of the Road”, “Helplessly Hoping”, “I Can’t Outrun You “, and for fun, “Butts Medley “

HF is known for their intricate arrangements and harmonies. It is interesting that you said this may be the best version of this song you ever heard, because they do a version of How Great Thou Art that I have ever heard, and the visuals were just as stunning because it was filmed in the Austrian Alps. For me, they have the richest harmonies of any band on the planet and their secret is their exquisite arrangements they do with each song they do. The just dropped Mary Did You Know, and probably their best Christmas song video is Do You Hear What I Hear, which was arranged by their world class vocal percussionist, Adam Rupp.

His brother, the powerhouse tenor is amazing and Tim Foust's range and depth of tone is unparalleled. I felt like on this one there was too much nasally tone, and I know he can sing without it because I've heard him do so. I adore their "Mary did you Know"!

I am a Pentaholic and country music is not generally speaking in my lane. Having said that, I have the utmost respect for Home Free. No one can deny their talent individually and as a group, And I love their comedic videos like the Butts Remix and Champange Taste to name a few. They are so clever and sometimes very subtle. They are great. My Grandma's favorite song was White Christmas because the year the song was released, 3 of her 4 sons and her son-in-law were all overseas fighting in WWII. Can't listen to that song today without getting a little misty. Of course, they are all gone now and I miss them all especially at this time of the year. Enjoyed the reation.

I didn't care for the country genre either, but I Love Home Free, If you like this you should also look at a Christmas song that I love from them and it was arranged by their beatboxer Adam called "Do You Hear What I Hear", also check out their "Winter Song", and for a fun one, their original "Cold Hard Cash" (which is a Christmas song also) I pretty much like everything these guys have done, their harmonies are on point and any of them can sing a good lead.

Oh Larry I have been waiting for this day ever since I heard that u were going to do a Home Free Christmas song. The anticipation was like a kid waiting for Christmas morning. 🎁 LOL Good choice!! Glad that u liked it!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 I serendipitously found Home Free this past August 15th. I watched their videos & then shared them w/ my husb. On Aug 18th our oldest daughter (38yo) came home & told us that she was going to our county fair to see some group called Home Free. I looked at the county fair FB page to confirm what I heard I started hollering, "We gotta go! We gotta go!" My husb thought that we needed to go to the hospital. He walked over & said, "What's wrong?" I exclaimed that Home Free was playing at the county fair & that we had to get going. We saw them 3 times in 3 months. They were playing that close to us! It would've been 4, but 1 of their workers got a break through case of covid & the concert had to be rescheduled. We just really enjoy their music & love going to concerts. Now that live music is back, we are hitting the circuit; cautiously. 😷 We will drive to the next state if it's a concert that we want to see. We live in IL & hv been to WI, IN, IA & MO. Stay safe Larry. Many blessings to u & ur family. Merry Christmas if I don't talk to u b4 then. Take care. ❤🎶🎄🎅🏼😃

I love Tim Foust and I think he has the greatest male range I have ever heard, and I have been working in music for literally 45 years, in ministry, as a choral director and singer for many groups and varied kinds of music. This group is just stunning in their harmonies. Don't let the country twangs fool you, these guys hold their own against the greatest classically trained vocalists in the world. I LOVE a capella groups and have been in several myself. I don't really consider them "country" despite their twangs. I think the only thing I would tell them is that Tim (still my fave!) should back off the nasally twang thing a little on this one, and allow his deep, rich timbre to be the star in his voice. I gotta say on those places in much of their music where he uses that gorgeous bass growl it hits me right in the center of my chest and is thrilling as a fellow vocalist to hear! But I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!

"Warmest Winter" is Austin's memories of his grandmother, and brought even my big bad son to tears. Makes me cry every time.

I'm crazy over this song. I can't hear it enough. So glad I stumbled upon this KZitem to find someone as effusive as I am.

DON'T like country music but I LOVE listening to these guys. Have since I heard them on a cruise (2010 or 2011). They almost have me crying every time.

I couldn't have said it better myself! (minus the cruise, sadly!)
