The Harmonies on this one is phenomenal. Chance did a fantastic job of not only singing this song, but also directing and editing it, too. This song gives the chillls every single time. Thanks, Sam!

Adam Chance (AKA “Chance”) also directed this. I loved how it was in color when he was with the girl, and in black-and-White when he was alone. This is one of my favorites from them. He joined in 2016, replacing Adam Rupp’s brother (and Home Free co-founder), Chris Rupp. (Who launched his solo career). Chance is an amazing talent, and it’s so cool he’s being given the opportunity to shine!

You are doing a great job keeping up with our Home Free addiction. Don't be hard on yourself. You are such a nice person and you always have great reactions. I love this song and the contrast of bright and dark in the video. HF never disappoints with their harmonies, and Chance was so good in the lead. I appreciate you sharing with us.

Love it when they use that low lush layering. And the video is brilliant with all the sad scenes in b&w and the happy past in color. Elegant! This is one of my favorites.

They can't do every song/video they put out in there live shows, they try and put out 2 a month, in fact, a new one hit Patreon a couple days ago (awesome) should be out to the public next week. They are capable, very capable of doing this harmonizing like this in person. A reactor from Germany went to a show when they were in Europe a few weeks ago. He is very active in acapella and music and was very curious if they could sound as good live as in their videos. He said he was floored and blown away because they can. He said it was fun, funny all the fries in the audience made it even more fun people were so friendly and just easy to be with (Home Free and their music brings that out, they are very special and you know that from the videos, you will fully understand after you see them live). He said to fully understand the music, Home Free and why they have such loyal and dedicated fans, it truly has to be experienced, it really is not something you can get just talking or watching a video. Of course it's a live show, the workaround songs a lot to include the audience, singalongs, in Man of Constant Sorrow, Adam (beatboxer) does a harmonica, and he and Sutin do a duet of sorts, that not in the video or on the TImeless album (they are saying new album next year, more originals as well).

I have often wondered if the original singers, like Trace Adkins, have heard these covers. And would love to hear their reaction to what Home Free has done to it. I like this version better than the original. The harmonies are phenomenal.

@@BruddahSam Hooray! Thanks, Sam! Sorry I didn't catch this earlier. It' been a busy night. If you have a few minutes, check out my new website (Linda's Place) at lindawing.net. I was working on the first Devotional under the Devotionals menu from early last night until just now. I've been working through several music notation pieces of software to see which ones work the best for me. I uploaded a very simplistic little song I wrote back in 1983 that I never shared anywhere, to go with the devotional text I wrote. There's a bunch of other stuff already on the site (including links to all of my KZitem playlists, and to my already-existing Neighborly SimsCraft site). Having a blast putting the new stuff together. It's been a while since I've done any website building. Going to go watch the new reaction to the new video right now. Thank you so much!!!

These guys are awesome. My wife and I listen to them and Pentatonix pretty much every time we take a long drive. It's unbelievable what these groups can do without any instruments. I would love to see you do some Pentatonix reactions too. Like Bohemian Rhapsody or Imagine. Such a fan of your channel buddy. Thanks for spending your time with us and sharing great music! there is nothing like the feeling that takes over your body when we hear amazing and tight harmonies.

Hello Bruddah Sam! -- another wandering Home Fry here :*))Because I love Home Free, I love finding other people who love them too *and* I get to watch them yet one more time (or a few hundred more … haha) It's extra good when the "reactor" has some musical knowledge and can educate me on HF's musical brilliance more than just how awesome they sound. And Peter Hollens too! You are very sweet and kind and seriously -- a man who cries over beautiful music? It doesn't get any better. I truly hope you get to see them in person some day. They were in Hawaii last year ya know -- just sayin'
