The vent cover is upside down,you want the fins facing down so no rain gets in

G.G.& B....Be careful with the dryer ducting. Watch some of the other videos where dryer ducting is used. It turns brown and can be a fire hazard. I went with exhaust flex pipe instead. Also, buy the best magnet you can, the good ones are very expensive, and with the heat they endure, I am still not convinced they will stay magnetized.

Texas Law Dawg I would think with this piping being rated for 400 degrees it should be ok for just venting the exhaust since it’s not actually acting as a muffler. I’ve also figured another way to fix the exhaust instead of magnets, stand by for video #2!!
