Thanks so much for this workout tutorial, Erin! I love how you really go into such detail, and give such great explanations about how to execute the exercises properly. Unilateral exercises are so fun and challenging, and like you said, they can help you to see where there might be an imbalance from one side to the other. Then, once you know which is your weaker side, you can work to improve the strength to catch up with the stronger side. I am so glad I found you and your channel! Your fitness tips have made a huge difference in how I approach my workouts, and fitness in general 💖😘

After watching this video some more of yours popped up. Mostly showing your athletic ability. Like jumping plyp push ups and lifting the Atlas stone. WOW!! These moves show your real abilities. Strength, grace and beauty! Tough combo to beat.

Erin could you do a shoulder workout with free weights, and maybe body weights too? Idk, but this workout is good form someone that doesnt go to a gym. And your shoulders are sooo amazing.

Love all your videos! A lot are more advanced for me but it’s something to work towards! I save them and me and my bestie watch /do what we can while we are at the gym. I changed my diet in January, lost a lot of weight and started going to the gym in September. We go 5-6 times a week. In a few months I’ll be 52! I’ve never felt better! My 50’s are going to be fabulous! Thanks so much for making all your videos!

Thank you for this video, Erin. I broke my right hip running in February 2018 due to a super weak left glute. Since then, I’ve been working on single leg / unilateral stuff, and it’s amazing , just as you mentioned on the video, my balance, overall strength and performance has improved a lot. I’m totally gonna add this workout to my strength routine!

Erin, I did this workout yesterday. It’s so effective for legs and glutes. Feeling it today for sure. I usually pop on my headphones and am in my own world in the gym, but did glance around for a few seconds to see if maybe someone else was doing the workout. 🤣 The modified pistol squats humbled me.

I really needed these exercises! I’m recovering from ACL reconstruction surgery, so I’m trying to strengthen that leg again. Single leg exercises is just what I need to be doing! Thanks Erin, your video are some of my favorites!!😀💪🏼

Now you're just showiing off!! Ssuch perfect form and ROM. Maybe in my wildest dreams. KBut I do it like you demoed using the land mine set up. Yourse is one of the few channels I automatically click on to watch. Others I read what it's about but your info is always useful.

Stern dominates all sides of training!:) Like your variation of pistol squats. The "full" version on the other hand can´t be good for knee health in the long run.

Erin, you always make exercises for the expert, but you never focus on the beginners. You never explain HOW to reach that level of flexibility in order to do these exercises. some of us can't squat even a bit. it's not your problem? come on now girl, i think deep in your heart you have love for some of us not experts.

Love the video. Searching for a better way to do seated calves. Tried it that way but not getting the same burn I used to get with the seated calf machine they used to have at my gym before they got rid of it...

Try seated calf raises on the smith machine. Sit on the end of a bench and place your toes on stacked plates to get full range in your calves. Use one of the cushions on the bar and place the bar closer to your knees. It works great.

s Since incorporating Erin Stern's weight lifting routines combined with alternates (from bodybuilding.com), plus hiit, I can now walk without a limp and my knee doesn't give out when I walk!! I was showing off my walking to my friend and she noticed that I don't roll when I walk either. Plus I can do a zippy walk as well. After a couple of setbacks, I make my routine quite basic and gradually increase my weight load...slow and steady has done the trick for me...btw, my favourite techniques are; landmines, RDL's, skull crushers on the Smith machine with a bench and wood choppers. Thank you Erin for your inspiration. I still have a ways to go but my self-discovery of increased mobility has really boosted my confidence.

Hi Erin. I love your workout videos. They are really amazing and informative. You inspire many girls and women all over the world. I love the way you explain precisely the stress and relaxing areas for each workout. I wish you continue this good work and keep inspiring others. I wanted some advice from you- I am little heavy in the lower body and as I am short (ht 158 cms and wt 127 lbs) so I find my body even more disproportionate. Which type of workout plan would you suggest? Shall I do more of cardio or more of weights?
