good to see you back man, those side engine go-kart's annoy me though. I just can't help but think about the imbalance, the left side would be much heavier with the person on it and I wonder how this affects handling...

Nice work. Where do you drive this cart? Will it be a problem for the driver's weight to be significantly more to one side than the other?

Ill just drive it around the neighborhood and maybe a few empty parking lots.... honestly the real thrill for me is building the things! And as far as the balance, who knows! I'll find out for you haha

neville van vuuren 15 teeth engine sprocket and 25 on the axle if I remember correctly haha

Craig Decker I bought the sprocket off eBay, just have to keep your eyes peeled. Make sure the sprocket is the right bore size, they often come unfinished with a 5/8 bore and no keyway, which is useless to guys like you and me

www.monstercraftsman.com/ This website sells chain tensioners for motorcycle chain types. If you need more common sized roller sprockets just go on ebay!
