Well done Gavin. I can also recommend using a white shower curtain and backlight it with a flash to get you a little more backdrop surface space :)

Great as always... with the crop why not just stretch out the white or paint it in? When you do the white and black sliders do you not use the Alt as well to see the peaks

Gavin, I thought you said you work in sRGB only and not in AdobeRGB/ProphotoRGB. On this video you are working in AdobeRGB. Whats your opinion about best color-space? People say "for future use, stick with larger color-space", some other people say "NO, you cannot see half of the colors you're editing in ProPhotoRGB..".

I have a question for you, is it possible to use the 'Flashpoint Streak light 360' during a street photoshoots without a softbox.
@ronspeer
6 жыл бұрын
Yes, but keep in mind that because a bare Flashlight 360 will be a smaller light source in relation to your subject therefore you will have a hard light with sharply defined shadows. But that may be what you want. Being your question is at least three years old, you may already know that by now. And no, I'm not Gavin Hoey. :)

@Adorama

ILoveCheese We think that's a great idea...if you expand the description section of the video you'll see links to all of the products that Gavin mentions in the video. Just click on the link, which leads to Adorama.com, and you can check out the pricing and order any products you're interested in adding to your took kit...easy as 1, 2, 3!
