Thank you for this! YOu certainly should consider duotight. Super hassle-free indeed. Also, for the floating dip tube, do check out FlotIt 2.0 from Homebrewerlab. The best one out there.

Im tryingnto make the strawberry and basl drink, can I use a big class jar with a lid for the middle process? Where the fruit sits, ifmi don't have a giant bottle?
@TheBruSho

Yeah for sure. But just don’t seal it other wise it might explode if the glass is not pressure rated

Can you recharge the mini CO2 cards or you need to buy it again?

It’s something you need to buy again. Not the most cost efficient way to carbonate but it works

I disagree. Pinch clamps are excellent on the gas side and on hoses you do not plan to disconnect regularly like my high temp silicone braided hosing on my cam locks on the hot side. Also, I had gas leaks using worm clamps because they don't seal completely around a barb. Pinch clamps have their application

i realy like the carbonation caps. i used them with a bit of tubing to make adapters for my quit disconnect system, so i can hook up all my keg related stuff to my normal hoses and CIP them, just like anything else.

I have a harbor freight 4 in one screwdriver. I tossed the screw bits and one side fits all of my 1/2 od hose clamp for brew day and the other side fits all of my small clamps for dispensing and gas.

@TheBruSho

Dry malt lasts a lot longer than liquid malt. Not sure the exact times but it’s a good idea to keep an eye out for dates on liquid malt extract, it can definitely go bad

I just put on my very first homebrew. It's a green tea recipe (one of yours). I'm not sure what I'm going to flavour it with yet, but I have a week to think about it. LOL. I noticed on one of your videos (maple wine I think it was), you had a bottle washer contraption **Edit** Just found one online. **Edit** Does it have a name? I'd love to get hold of one. Cheers and thanks for the great content. I'm on a grain free regime so am looking forward to trying many of your seltzers and tea ferments. Keep up the great work. Oh, and I love your dog, sooooo cute.

Thanks so much, she sure is a QT. That washer is pretty handy, although some people use PBW in their dishwasher to clean bottles, you could look into that too. And let me know how that green tea comes out!

@@TheBruSho Hi Trent. Thanks for the reply. I just realised my new "bucket fermenter" doesn't have an airtight seal. Is it OK to just leave it to ferment and hope for the best that it's finished? Sadly the airlock won't be any help as it's ineffective with the lack of airtight seal. Started SG was 1010, I was going for a very low alcohol drink. What should I be looking for to see if fermentation has finished? I'll be adding fruit in the last few days. We're still having 25 degree days here (78F). Should I just wait a week then add the fruit. Sorry I have so many questions.
@TheBruSho

@@soapsoilandsunshine3241 oh wow that is low alc! I’d imagine FG will still be around 1.000. And since you don’t have an airtight seal it will be hard to tell. So just check after 3-4 days to see if your near 1.000. And definitely get a bucket that can seal next time! And no worries about questions I love ‘em. You can also ask me on instagram if you have more
