CONTEXT: My friend and I arrived to BDC San Bernardino City Fire Department Station 226 because BDC Upland ME164 was covering the station due to ME226 being dedicated to a structure fire, and MS226 was out of service, utilizing WT226 on a vegetation fire in Colton. We were witnesses to majority of the exchange.
My friend and I witnessed a homeless man and woman fighting on the hillside behind the site of new fire station 226, yelling and throwing things at each other. The man walked away with a bike and set fire to garbage at up against the construction site fence, quickly climbing up the hillside.
WT226 was in the process of switching back into MS226 when firefighters and others nearby heard the woman yelling for help. Due to the possible threat to the new station, a full brush assignment was dispatched, utilizing San Bernardino, San Manuel, and Fontana resources. The fire was quickly contained at no more than an acre. There was no damage to the station, but there was minimal damage to the fencing and vegetation at the back of the lot
SECOND PORTION:
San Manuel BC912 came across a small vegetation fire and requested resources. A minimal amount of brush and trees were burned
