where did you get those glass jars with the plastic snap lids? you know you can steam the fruits and veggies then puree....steaming holds in the nutrients.

I need to get me a steamer, that is a great tip. If you click the link in the description below this video I have all of my glass bowls linked to Amazon. They are by a brand called Wean Green I believe. :)

Asher is sooo cute! Where did you get the reuseable food pouches? Thats the first time Ive seen that! So cool! I also think its cool that you put seasoning. I just have simple baby food that i make. I never thought to season. Great video as always!

+Mommy Hunger Thank you lady! if you click on my blog under the description it will show you exactly where I get all three of my pouches. But I get them off of Amazon because I am a product addict! lol I will be doing a video all about those pouches plus a few other ones I didn't mention in the future. :)

How to store and how long will it last in fridge... How to warm it
@MyGreenNest
8 жыл бұрын
That is a great questions actually! Well I store mine in the three containers that you see in the video and in the blog. I freeze them and then put one or two in the fridge to thaw out for the next day. I usually feed it to my son cold once it has thawed out. You can microwave the glass ones maybe 30 seconds to a minute. Keep stirring and make sure its not too hot for baby. You could also dip them in a glass of hot hot water and thaw out just like breastmilk. I do this especially with my reusable pouches if I need them thawed super fast. I say it will keep in the fridge for a day or so after being thawed. If it was freshly put in the fridge, maybe about 3-4 days. I wouldn't keep them frozen in the freezer longer than a month, maybe two at the most. Hope this helps!

Yes, you can put in the freezer. You could keep in the fridge for a few days and maybe a couple of months in a regular freezer. :)

You could use any color carrots you want as they each have different nutritional benefits. I happen to use orange in my video :)

I hear that their digestive systems are not ready for solid food until 6 months of age, however almost everyone I know started their babies on solids around 4 or 5 months. I started Asher around 5 1/2 months with this recipe and nothing bad happened. Just start with a little at a time and see how your baby does. And seasoning is totally optional! You can slowly add some in after a while if you wish to do it that way, or exclude it all together. I personally love herbs, spices, and seasonings, so I don't shy away from them even for my own babies. I hope this helps you! If you check out my blog in the description below this video, I have a few more recipes listed that you can make up. Let me know if you have anymore questions. :)

hi can I start this food for my 4 and1/2 month baby plz reply

Hi Anu, most pediatricians recommend waiting until they are about 6 months because their digestive system isn't ready to digest regular food yet. I do know several people who have started their babies on regular food as early as 4 months though. I personally waited until about 5 1/2 months and introduced very slowly. Hope this helps!

Never peal and wash veggies and fruits, always wash and then peal them.

My Green Nest when you wash before pealing, you wash any dirt on the surface. But when you wash after pealing, there's no point in it, there won't be any dirt under the pealed skin.
