ATK really has some of the best recipes... I look to them often for inspiration, reference, foundations... this was beautifully adapted and they look so tasty! Cool history to these as well! Love this one Maggie! Nicely done! Intros and extros... they can be the most frustrating!!

Thnk you for the encouragement. I'm afraid my level of enthusiasm waned a bit as my frustrations mounted. It's so hard to do this alone! I need a filming buddy!Lol

when did you discover your love for baking? did anything/ anyone inspire you? i have watched all sorts of cooking shows for as long as i can remember. i don't bake often but i'd love to get more into it when i'm older!

Hey Alalynah! You're never too young to start! I baked my first pie when I was 3 (that's a pic of me with it on the end screen) I think my inspiration is the happy feeling I get when I give someone something I make - It's a form of expressing my love or care for them

"turbonato sugar" really??? as if. just give the real recipe, not some john hopkins version

The 'real' recipe? 😆The 'turbinado' sugar is used because it's the closest thing we have in the States to Belgian brown sugar. If you want the REAL recipe, use Belgian brown sugar. PS I wasn't aware that Johns Hopkins was in the cookie making business...(it's JOHNS Hopkins, by the way)
