Damn, I just stumbled upon this video randomly and seen him for the first time. I went to go to the comments to compliment him on his entertainment and beautiful food - then I find out he's passed away upon reading a few other comments. That is very sobering and blindsiding. So instead I will just say to Jock's family - for the small worth it may be - I immediately recognised a gifted and passionate man within minutes of watching. He's spreading knowledge and enjoyment with his work here, a giving and nurturing person, and no doubt he left this world a better place for him having been in it.

One day you're cooking food with love and passion and other day you're no more in the world. How unpredictable life can be? Rest in Peace Chef. I watched every season of Master chef Australia and now without you it will be difficult to watch. Hope you're happy wherever you are. Condolences to your family members.

I made this butter chicken recipe, so good. tastes a bit like the butter chicken at the old North Indian Diner in Newtown Sydney (which I loves). However, it really stings the heart watching this now. Sad loss, made worse after the passing of Father Bob

Those asking for measurements, 1 teaspoon of each spice. Adjust to your taste. A small full cream tub of plain yoghurt will be enough, but depending on the amount of chicken you have you may need more.

I've been cooking a very similar recipe for over ten years. It's from a Gordon Ramsey book called Great Escape. The main difference being that the Gordon Ramsey recipe is more authenticate as you use garam masala (which I roast and grind fresh). Personally I love the texture that you get from marinading it overnight. It feels more authenticate and it means that the marinade sticks to the chicken while cooking. Also, you can just grill the chicken in the oven at a high temperature and it will come out similar to the bbq.

His passing is a massive loss to everyone, let’s hope his situation gives the necessary drive to officials to recognise how prolific mental health related deaths are. RIPx

Looks lovely but anybody (especially someone claiming to be chef) cleaning out a bowl with a metal implement (spoon) is immediately considered 'thick'. How hard is it to use a silicon spatula to clean out your bowl/saucepan et cetera. When I strain the gravy I keep the puree and make naan bread with it. It is something very very special.
