In the previous video, the main stages of assembling the CNC machine with their own hands from matrix printers were considered. In this video, I made an overview of what components made this CNC machine. How do individual parts of the machine work, which was used in the development of the CNC milling machine from a matrix printer.
To assemble the CNC machine from the parts from the printer were used:
1. 3 A3 matrix printer.
2. Furniture rails: 2 pairs of 500 mm. And one pair for 300 mm.
3. Board 25x100, bar 25x25, plywood thickness of 8 mm.
4. Power supply from the computer.
5. Arduino NANO
6. Drivers L298 4 pcs.
7. Construction and furniture corners.
8. Screws, screws, nuts and stud M10.
9. Telephone wires, wires from the computer.
10. Variable resistor from the car.
11. The engine from the car compressor.
The X axis of the homemade CNC machine mixes the two bases from the matrix printers. To control the Y-axis, the motor and the belt from the third printer are taken. The Z axis of the CNC machine is controlled by the motor taken from the scanner.
The process of reworking old printers and commissioning the homemade CNC machine from printers took less time than the expectations of components from China.
As a result, a cheap CNC lathe turned out.
