What is 4.397? Is that the resistance of the circuit? And why does it show up, if you calibrated the circuit to 1.0002? Please reply, I’m trying to recreate this project. Thank you kindly

The schematic shows a variable [50 Ohm] resistor and beneath it, we see another resistor marked 18. Does that mean that the variable resistor must be adjusted, for 18 Ohms? Or does it mean, that there is, an ACTUAL 18 Ohm resistor, beneath the variable resistor? I’m sorry if this is a dumb question. I am still learning. Please reply. Thank you

Is it really necessary, to connect capacitors to the 7805 voltage regulator? If so, why? Also, what are the values of those two capacitors? Please reply, I’m trying to learn about electronics. Thank you kindly

Never measure thermistor with this test jig. Its 100mA constant current is too much for them. In the best case the resistance indication will not stabilize or will take long time to do so because the high current heats them. Apart from that, the danger to destroy them is always there. In general, when testing thermistors, keep the test current as low as possible (1mA or less, according to manufacturer's instructions).

The schematic says “you must use two separate batteries”. How come?
