Ingredients
100 ml lukewarm water
1 tbsp dry yeast
1/2 tsp sugar
(10 minutes rest)
1 cup all purpose flour (maida)
1/2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp olive oil
additional oil for greasing
Toppings
2/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese ( The best technique to shredding cheese is to start with cold )
1/2 Small size sliced Onion
5-6 sliced Olives
few sliced red, yellow and green bell peppers (Capcicum)
Red Chilli flakes (optional)
Oregano Leaves
Method
1. Take 100 ml lukewarm water in a bowl (Don't use too hot of water or you will kill your yeast), add yeast. Let it sit for about 10 minutes until frothy.
2. Add suger, all purpose flour, salt & oil over bloomed yeast.
3. Knead the dough briefly, just for 12 minutes in the bowl. Dough will be little wet. If feels too wet or sticky, add 1/2 tbsp flour more at a time. Dough should
not be very dry.
4. Cover with a lid and set aside for 1 or 1 ½ hours till it doubles.
5. Grease a pan with more oil, pat dough out using your finger tips to 8"-10" in diameter.
6. cover with kitchen cloth or by any other means. Allow it to rise for about 10 minutes. Then using a fork prick dough base.
7. Spread with sauce, top with cheese and toppings.
8. Preheat the oven at 200 degree C with upper and lower rods ON for 10 minutes.
9. Place the baking tray in the middle rack & bake for 12-14 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melt.
10. Top it up with some oregano and chili flakes Enjoy!!
