THANK YOU THANK YOU- watched your video this morning and went out and bought the wire and made 10 41/2 ft cages- so excited to find your channel- we were alarmed when we saw tomato cages were $14 at our local nursery

Thanks!! Those cages will last you for 20 years. I place two wood stakes in the ground on each side of the cage and then zip tie the cage to the stakes. They literally will not move after this. I just pull up the stakes at the end of the season.

This is pretty similar to what my grandpa taught me. The fencing we get ends up making a 5ft high cage. We snip the "bottom" ring out between the vertical wire and use the created prongs to stick the cage in the dirt. I'd have to check the gauge of the wire. You'll get a hand/forearm workout cutting and bending all the wire. Seems like we buy a bundle every 10 years. It's a good system. Glad you're showing others. Been subscribed to your channel for a long while. Always good stuff.

Hi. Tractor Supply has the 330 ft roll for $240. I’ve probably got 200ft left off that roll on the video. I’m really thinking about making several and selling them at our local farmers market.
