This is by far the best video on a DIY\Homemade grapple on KZitem. I appreciate the craftsmanship and the simple to the point explanations. I didn't feel like I was watching a commercial. I really hope you find time to produce more content.

In a sea of content, comments like this really help me narrow down what to watch and how valuable the content is before I press play. Thanks man. Watching now :D

Very professional work! Should outlast any grapple you can buy! I DIY’ed my own front mini loader, I totally understand how hard and tedious this work is.

Wow, so impressive, your video is like watching a movie, I would rather watch this than go see a movie, thx for showing it in action, Q. Seems very heavy, might be too much for my 33 hp tractor, What size is your tractor?
@Stilts72
Жыл бұрын
Thanks, I appreciate it. my tractor is a 35Hp. the grapples weighs between 500 & 550lbs. it does very good and still lifts a lot. only caution is when it’s up high, it’s easy to drop it to fast and if you stop it suddenly on the way down, without much weight on the back, it will rock the tractor. I’m use to controlling it now, but took some getting use to. Hope this helps.

Here is your 6th subscriber here! Well done sir! A lot of thinking went into that project! Not easy to get the exact location of the cylinder pins! As you said, a 1/16" makes a big difference! Being strongly built and weighing 500lbs is great! You did a great job of saving weight where is needed while keeping the strength where essential. I did a log grapple a few years ago. Only three tines on the base, one finger on top with 2 tines. Works great for logging and is meant for it. Not for clearing land. It's not what they call a "root grapple". Thanks! Joe (yes, my name is Joe too!) If you are interested, here is a video of the trial I did. kzitem.info/news/bejne/04F60mprpmh1m20 The making is videos #143, #145, #147.

Why not use the cad plasma table to cut for the pipe to go through? Would be one continuous piece and straight, and a lot faster.
