I used two artic cat snowmobile tracks the drive is simple belt and pulleys the belts are loose on the pulleys then when you pull one lever or the other another pulley tightens the belt to drive one side or the other works great on gravel but on the grass I have trouble with the tracks staying on i hope it works good on snow

Do you have any build instructions? The pulley/chain setup and suspension look like they work great, would love to copy it for my build.

Seem to be using chain drive to main axle, where is two belt pulleys for each side. Problem of this system is that it might be bit harsh to operate and belts slipping will eventually polish them up so power is bleed out from slipping. Interesting build for having fun, but this system wont work in anything bigger, will eat trough many belts and you can turn this in spot due the design.

Nice proof of the snowmobile tracked ATV concept. What length of track did you use? Could u source longer tracks and a toothed idler sprocket on the rear to keep the tracks on better?

That is one kick ass little track buggy!I am planning on building one myself.I am trying to figure out how the power is getting transferred to the tracks.Are the 5'' pulleys being engaged like an older lawnmower?Also the axle that is going to the tracks how are they fitting to the track?Homemade or snowmobile parts?

Nice build...looks like snow sled tracks. 16" wide?..honda 8-10 hp or close? are the blue clamps to temp hold the seat ? slip drive for steering? operator pushes both levers, engages the belts, move forward. pull back on one, push on the other to turn? am I close? is your drive ratio around 10:1 or 12:1...very torquey...nice job....super nice....enjoy this project....will check out your other vids on this drive....excellent job....
@RancTek

did you use dual wheels to keep the track from sliding off during turns or is there a mechanical arm holding the tracks on them we can't see? is the rear most wheel adjustable to tighten the track? upside down throttle on the right stick. or is that brake lever? wait, did you use the steering levers for brakes as well?..... you nailed this vehicle....what a cool build.....
