Not just energy for the older folks. Health hazard (and most on limited incomes), too. My very active and believed to be healthy ~75 year old father in law was working on his son’s yard in Phoenix heat, suffered a heart attack or heat stroke and died within a couple weeks after being hospitalized. It was so sad. His mind was still young and chipper and thought his body was, too.He loved doing yard work all his life. Just not safe when getting up there.
@MsAppassionata

@@LoriChiov Perhaps it was mainly the weather that did in your father in law, not necessarily just his age. I personally don’t think that anyone should be doing heavy yard work on very hot days. I don’t even know how these young men who do these videos are able to do that. Anyone can suffer from heat stroke, no matter what the age. I hope this young man is keeping well hydrated.

Also when the sidewalks have buildup you won't leave the edges looking like they have been framed. You'll notice the difference.😊 You're doing a Great job helping people doing this for free. This one was intense! Once you got the a/c unit all dug out (BTW, you never said - did it run then?) it wasn't anything too dangerous or crazy, but just A LOT of everything. A LOT of grass, and very tall. A LOT of trees to trim around and to trim branches from. A LOT of thick, heavy edging. Oh, and in A LOT of heat! I love the way you approach each job as if you were doing your own or a family member's yard - very careful, precise and tidy. It's not at all the standard "lawn cleanup YT video" level of work. It's so much more personal, showing it's about more than just the likes, etc. You really care. I don't know what happened that this gentleman's yard fell into such disarray, but it's clear it was a source of pride in the none-too-distant past. He was certainly appreciative of having it restored. And if clearing the brush wasn't enough to get the a/c to click on, at least he can get someone out there to fix it now! If he tried to call someone before, they likely told him they wouldn't even attempt it until it was cleared out. Love this channel. I sure wish I knew your secret for doing all that hard, dirty work for hours and looking neat and cooly crisp at the end of the day! 😂

I collect knives & I can honestly say that was a SWEET GIFT!! Nothing says thank you, I appreciate your HARD WORK and time like a beefy blade. Super cool! You did such a good thing by clearing his AC off, thankfully now he won't get heat exhaustion or worse. You went above and beyond for a complete stranger, thank you❤ Much love from California

What a difference! That St. Augustine hrass is a bear when it gets that long, but there were surprisingly few weeds. His yard looks like a park now. Well done.

OMG he said that He spent 3 more days working about 3 hours each day! 100* heat is no laughing matter heat stroke, dehydration and fatigue. Mercy mercy mercy me. The only thing I seen wrong was no gloves, no ear & eye protection, a mask of some type to keep his nose & lungs free from all the debris floating about. My hat is off to you, you were truly a Godsend to this man. Bless you.
