Who you kidding Faruk. Someone as meticulous as you is NEVER satisfied with the result. As a full-time, all-in member of your audience, I can safely say that I am quite satisfied, as always. And that's not to blow smoke. That's just to tell you how much respect i have for your product. You never cheat the audience. That's why you'll never lose us. Have a great weekend man.

Terrific review - the latency is a massive issue when connected to a Mac as it makes video calls (zoom, teams, etc) impossible, which blew my mind that this is an issue at all.

At first, I said to myself "this is way too long, I will skip some parts of it". But Faruk has trapped me once again (not surprisingly?) and I watched the entire video almost with no skips (except Siri). Compherensive review, awesome cinematography and spot on production as well. Also I appreciate your reminder on earthquake victims. You are a true example of what a KZitemr needs to be, in my opinion

Great video, amazing quality! I have two HomePod minis in my office, and two OG HomePods as a stereo pair in the living room. I did have three OG HomePods at one point but two years ago one of them just died. I kept it as an object on my bookcase because it looks so aesthetically pleasing. If my OG HomePods stop working, I'd probably go for HomePod 2.

My original HomePods have always been my under the radar favorite apple devices. I got them really cheap when they were discontinued and have loved them. Glad to see they are releasing an updated version. Side note, I do wish Apple would add Bluetooth support or an Aux port. It’s a bit disappointing it’s not there. Also, they need to work on the heat thing because my HomePods do get very hot and it seems like the new ones do as well.

Hey Faruk, thank you very very much for the review!!! I was especially waiting for it. Other reviewers just say that it's the same product that flopped but with fewer speakers and complain that it does not play Spotify (I'm surprised that they don't complain about the missing USB port). Your measurements are fantastic, and the point about the delay when using through ARC is very important as well because that's one of my intended uses. Thank you once more, keep the awsome videos coming :)

What an excellent review and thank you for mentioning Turkey & Syria. A couple of questions: Could you tell if it was able to configure itself to the room configuration & location (this is supposed to take awhile) and how does that compare to HP 1 with more microphones. Also, overall, would you recommend two HomePod Minis or one HomePod 2 (particularly if you used it sometimes with Apple TV)?

I've watched some people saying the HomePod2 is worse, but they have it almost against a wall. I know there is an S7 chip to compensate, but it can't rewrite physics. I have a pair 1 metre from the rear wall and 2 metres from the side walls, which sounds great. Coming from a $10k system, that's high praise. I also found that Apple Music sounded really lumpy, and am now using Tidal over Airplay and the bass is much cleaner and better defined.

Thank you very much, this is the most detailed review I've seen yet :) I have a question: compare to the first gen - is there any difference in latency when you using pairs of them with Apple TV? I have one firstgen HomePod and I want to get second one to create stereopair, so I don't know what is better: to sell my one and buy the pair of new ones, or just a by another HomePod 1.

Wow, great job! This review has measurement, data and graph! The HomePod 2 had better mid or more flat frequency response than HomePod 1. So, how about I use the “Reduce Bass” option to HomePod? Can I achieve similar frequency response to HomePod 2? May be I don’t need to upgrade from my pair of HomePod 1?

What can be said about this video. I couldn't even fathom how much effort went into this, until Faruk Beyciğim silently shouted about it in his community post recently. Life and KZitem in parallel is unfair. Effort sadly not always equal to, well, in this case "Viewership". May be Faruk Beyciğim is content about it, well I am definitely not. I wouldn't want to hurt anything with this. (If I stepped out of line with this, I'll withdraw my comment.)
