LOVED THIS!!! And LOL to spelling science wrong. Okay what I loved is how you have set rules within their freedom!!!! 🙌🏽👏🏽🙌🏽 I think when my kids were younger that’s what I failed at hahaha!!! I also love that you’re teaching them how to be their own advocate!!!!! SO IMPORTANT! Thank you for doing this collab with me mama!!!!! 💕💕

Came from Torrie's channel and so glad I did you just saved my honeschool!!! So excited! your an angel sent from God sending you blessings and love. I have been struggling as I've been waiting for new curriculum to come in for my 6 year old kindergartener who is use to public school uniformity and felt like I was falling short of her expectations when we decided to do this as I quickly realized I can't recreate her pre-k experience. And my 3 year old whirlwind son who is constantly running around getting into everything because he is under stimulated. This is the answer I can not thank you enough for helping me and restoring my weary homeschool mom heart to be on fire for teaching my kids

Hi! I found you from Caylie Elaine's interview :) I'm also a reselling homeschool mom with 3 boys that are 7, 4 & almost 2! It can be very hard but rewarding. I know the fruit will show in the long run :) cant wait to watch your videos and learn from you about your homeschooling life. I do well with the reselling part but balancing with homeschooling can be a struggle for me with multiple ages boys and doing it with no help. Plus my sons have adhd so its straight crazy most days lol

You have my dream space for my younger kiddos!! I had similar child-led space when my kids were a bit younger, but I struggle so much with the consistency and keeping things in an organized space. I’ve had to grow so MUCH in this area and still need to. Love your ideas and creativity in your space! 💕

Oh yes! It is a constant process of practicing consistency with organizing. It is so easy to let go of and we all know kids allow let it be as unorganized as we let them LOL.

@teachthemfun
3 жыл бұрын
I buy mine from target as they put school supplies out in the summer (in the dollar spot). Sometimes target has bins in various areas of the store at random times. Also amazon has many options. You may even find some tray options at the Dollar Tree. I hope that helps ☺️

Loved this video. Question....I run a small daycare while I homeschool. I want to do this type of process but it seems a little more difficult, in maybe that is just my own fear talking. Lol. I do some preschool learning with my kiddos but would love to have it more organized like yours. Suggestions? I think I might be a little too "free range" for my own good. Hahaha
@teachthemfun
3 жыл бұрын
Hello Alethea (love your name btw). There are several ways to go about it. Maybe draw a map of your daycare/homeschool space and create various room layouts and designated spaces for what you want in your room. Declutter before starting new spaces to avoid overwhelming chaos for yourself in the process of revamping your space. Choose one space at a time to create/improve before moving on to the next space. For example if your main goal is an art space, start and finish that space first, and then move to the next space you want to create. Take breaks if it’s overwhelming, but don’t move on to another space without finishing one. Each space doesn’t have to be perfect, just functional. Over time you’ll see what is working and what isn’t and make changes accordingly. I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions. Oh, also. Shelving is what I consider to be the most important.

Oh I love cube shelves as well and have 3 of them upstairs to organize with. A lot of my trays are found in the target bullseye playground right before each school year starts. Sometimes they have them displayed elsewhere in the store throughout the year.

@teachthemfun

Good question! My kids were younger when I filmed this and are now 5 and 8. The great thing about the trays is you can change them out according to age and what they’re learning. I don’t have a set ending for the trays.
