"and it's mostly homeschool stuff, because what else do we buy?" Lol I feel this so deeply... a house full of great homeschool resources that we use, but most of my purchases besides groceries are generally tied to homeschool 😆

We went on a cruise in January (my wonderful aunt watched my children) so I picked up a lot of things to organize our cabin (magnetic clips, pop up mesh hamper, over the door hanger) and some cute new clothes to wear on board. I also liberally use subscribe and save for most of our bathroom products and pet food.

My mom bought me a vitamix after my kitchen aid blender from my bridal shower (17 years ago) finally died and I ground up coffee beans in it. I would never have spent that much but it is worth it! I also make oat flour in it.

We bought a treadmill from Amazon earlier this winter too. We bought a smaller one that's not very fancy, but it's been nice to walk and watch tv at the same time hahahahha. It can fold up for storage purposes too which is nice, but we haven't ever hid it away because then we may not use it! We also bought some new pans because ours are toast. Other than that not much...some e-books but I try to mostly get those from the library!

I love those produce containers. I was skeptical but they actually work! It doubles the life of the produce in our house. The trick is not to wash the produce before you put it in. I have had them for almost five years now.

I'm way more likely to eat produce if it is already washed, so I've discovered washed fruit holds if you fully dry it off with a paper towel before storing!

@@BlckSWANWhtRbbt Thanks for the tip! Have any tips on getting them dry? I would also eat more if I washed all at once.

We are homeschooling an only child too, and I’d love a video on independent games she could play herself (without me) for the times that I’m wore out and need a break. My daughter needs intentional play I have to lay stuff out for her these days which can be exhausting in itself but she’s only newly been this way but I want her to have some activities that are fun she can do alone!

I got the Vet academy book you suggested for a vet unit with my daughter and she loved it! We also got the science kit that had the plaster dog, ticks, and suture practice. This clay one look better so that may be my next purchase, lol! I’ve been buying a lot of resources to help my daughter with number sense, as I’ve been researching learning math automaticity and fluency through understanding rather than straight memorization. So nothing crazy expensive, but I want all the books and printables and games so it’s been a big chunk of time and a dent in my pocket book! 😬

We just did the gelatin 🐸 dissection kit! It was fun, but very messy. The one we ordered came with extra gelatin packs and we saved the skeleton to make it again. The gelatin is really hard to remove in sections like a real dissection experience, so prepare yourself for bits of gelatin all over. We did like the guide though that came with it. It had a lot of great new facts!

We have four new book shelves to turn into storage towers on wheels for my office on the way currently, but I also bought a little photo printer like the one you have too! I’m using it to do travel journals right now, but want to use it for school notebooking next school year when we transition into a more CM type homeschool!

I love the looks of the sprocket! How do you find out about all these fun things? A few things we got recently include the science comics Spiders book, the graphic novel 5 Worlds, Pirates Magnified, One Crazy Summer, some acrylic paint pens and new markers, and some egg bite molds so my daughter can learn to make them in the instant pot.

I would be curious to Know how you use all the extra resources. Ex- with the human body will you use one book primarily and and just flip through the others at Whim or have a loop type rotation with other sources? Hope that makes sense
