I have a beautiful china hutch in my bedroom that houses curriculum books that we have will use in future years, my old planners (my form of record keeping), and various things not currently in use. We have a bookshelf with storage bins in the dining room that hold each child's independent work. I have a bin/basket in the living room for our morning/group time. We have a small downstairs bedroom in the back corner of the house that is used as a teen hangout room. In there is our craft supply storage, readers, wall timeline, maps, laptop storage, and my teacher manuals. Basically my whole house is used for school stuff in some way.

Now that I think of it, most of the rooms in my house have school stuff in them.

Thank you! I’ve been looking for a bigger cart to hold all of my son’s high school curriculums and books. I love this!

I love how deep and wide those clear bins are! Not as easy to tip over. 😊

I have the same cart. Using two C- Clamps I attached a whiteboard to the side and love it.

Love it. I had smaller carts for my sons but I felt like I had carts all over the place 😅 I like the idea of just one. Going to think about this 🤔 Thank you for the idea!

Love your cart and clear bins! We turned our toy room into a homeschool room last year but it didn’t work out and we moved to the living room. My son has adhd and didn’t want to set in there. This year we’re doing some online schooling so he’s ok with going back to desks(for now anyway). We have shelves from Walmart holding everything. He’s my only school aged now. I’ve moved things around like 3 times already lol.

My 7yo grandson has a hard time focusing unless we are in our homeschool room. I’ve tried to have him in other rooms, outdoors, all over the place, he just gets distracted. So for the time being we do most of our work in the “classroom”. I’m homeschooling for the second time around and this is the first child that is this way 😅. I’m rolling with it! I have one more grandchild on the way, so I’ll be retiring at 76yo. (Momma is a PS teacher )

We store our books in the Casper's (our ghost) room. We have bookshelves and a shelf for each one of the kids. We do school mostly on the couch or the table. We live in Texas so if it's a nice day we go to the park feed the squirrels and do school.

@@HomeSweetHomeschoolLife yes lol we live in a haunted mobile home park. Everyone out here has different issues. I'm thankful mine is mostly just noises. Some issues are things go missing sometimes they return sometimes not a men's wedding band showed up on our bathroom floor we have no idea who it belongs to. Fire alarms go off for no reason, TV turns itself on in the middle of the night and sometimes it sounds like two people are having a conversation in the kitchen in the middle of the night. We have been here since 2014 and we are all kinda used to it.

We have finally settled on an in between for homeschool space. It has changed over the years depending on what we need and our current house is small right now we use small alcove in the living room with a floor table. It has been the best solution ever for five kids to be able to gather around and read and write. We were using the couch but we needed something else this year. I was hesitant because I have set up a homeschool room many times and not used it but finally this year this cozy space withinin our living space is working great!! We used the kitchen table for years and years but I got extremely tired of having to clean it off for every meal from every day of school and all the kids crafts lol. I love your cart set up! I bring my carts in and out from the garage but never thought to put the books in sideways in bins!!!

Our dining room is fairly large, so we have two bookshelves and a 6 cube shelf side table for all of our homeschool things. We mostly homeschool at the dining room table, but sometimes read aloud in the living room. 😊

We homeschool in the kitchen, living room, and/or bedrooms. We use bins and a homeschool cart (soon to be 2!) to store our items.

We have a homeschool cart, but it's stationary. I use it for odds and ends. Like different unit studies, extra supplies, and our calendar materials. We have a big calendar on the wall that we just change the days and month name every month. We have posters on the walls. Our white board also hangs on the wall. I have my 9 YO's daily requirements on it. It helps her remember our loop scheduling. We have 2 baskets that we use for our daily supplies. One is for our folders, books, history binder, notebooks, her clipboard, and my clipboard with my weekly planner page and our school year calendar on it. The other is for science materials. It has a rock kit, a crystal kit, a minerals kit, and the books my daughter is using for notebooking science. The main basket is left in the school area, the science basket is in a closet. We have a homeschool room for the first time. We didn't have the space in the past, but we moved to a bigger home a couple of months ago. This is our fourth year homeschooling. We don't do school in there though. My daughter does some of her assignments in there, but I stay on the couch. My daughter often joins me on the couch. We need more furniture in the school room, right now there's just a coffee table and bookshelf. Nowhere to sit except the floor. I plan on buying some furniture for the school room especially since I have more children that will be doing school soon enough. They currently are 3½ and 4 weeks (tomorrow).
