Entering my first “school” year of Homeschooling my 2 year old toddler!
Many of my mom friends are sending their kids to daycare, but I’m opting to keep her home with me, so I want to make sure she’s entertained, and learning as much as she can (since I can easily get sidetracked by cooking/cleaning/errands and housework!) so I’ve decided to document my journey into her first “academic year” of Hom

Here is how I keep everything organized:
My Detailed Homeschooling Happy Planner
My Weekly “SnapShot”
My Whiteboard
My DIY Daily Homeschool Bins
And everything else that I need!
Hope you enjoy jumping into this journey with me! My little one is currently 26 months old, but we technically started more intentionally homeschooling at 20 months, so although this is the beginning of children’s “academic” school year, we’re on Month 7: Day 1 of very INTENTIONAL homeschooling and activity preparation!
We’re also aiming to do “No Screen September”, and we’ve completed 3 days so far, I just want to teach her things, and take a break from some screen time (again just a more conscious and intentional effort to remove screen time from my toddler’s schedule entirely since I can see how addictive it gets, even when she watches pretty educational things like Ms. Rachel, but suddenly it’s day 3 going on day 4, and she has already slowly stopped asking for Ms. Rachel, so I’m pretty fascinated and I want to see how she will do this month, and how feasible it is, and whether I can get anything done if the activities are stimulating enough for her for independent play while I’m cooking/cleaning/tidying and doing some housework between homeschooling lessons and activities!
Can’t wait to be on this journey together!!!
