I learned cursive when I was in middle school. The subjects I’m doing this year are History, Geometry, Chemistry, Writing and grammar, Literature, Hebrew, and a instrument. I’ve been playing Drums for 8 years. It takes a about 5 and half hours to do all of it.

Wow Congratulations!!! I'm loving how she is studying finances like Dave Ramsey. I'm just stunned how well prepared your kids will be for the world. You are doing amazing!!! I'm looking forward to that future. I started this year homeschooling because of COVID-19, but I'm finding out so much I can get from that. Thank you for your videos

I love teaching your kids cursive and finance skills. Feel like school are not doing that as a require subject these days. I learned cursive in first grade. Everyone was require to learn and write it through middle school. Finance in Highschool.

As a German I don’t get the concept of homeschool. I get that the kids learn what they are interested in but what about history? Like US History and Worldhistory. The whole world laughs about the stupidity of some Americans (not saying that you or your kids are stupid) but some Americans still honestly think that the Berlin Wall is still up and they don’t know anything about WW 2. How can a system work if you only learn what you want and not what is important? Especially history teaches us so many things that we need to know so that we can learn from them and a lot of Americans just don’t learn it. That can’t be good. Same goes with Geography and Biology 🤷🏽♀️

Loved this but I have a few questions! Do you do social studies other than history? why do you use a different curriculum for different kids for math? Evie mentioned Shea was helping her, do you have the older children help the younger ones?

I love that you actually seem to educate your children. I know that sounds crazy, but I feel that a lot of KZitemrs homeschool their kids and don’t actually end up teaching them much. I was just wondering, how does it work to use a Christian curriculum for science? Is it science education that they would receive in public school? Or are a lot of concepts accepted by the scientific community but denounced by the church glossed over? I know they’re not my kids, but I think it is a perfectly fair question.

Wow judgemental this lil comment feed is. Saying whos smart who’s not smart . A child can be a grade or two above theirs and on the other hand a child can also struggle thru school daily and be a grade or two behind whether it’s HOME, PUBLIC, PRIVATE,CATHOLIC, DE-SCHOOL. Let’s keep an open understanding mind ladies. 🤗

What did days look like when your oldest kids were around 1st and 2nd grade? I have a 1st and 2nd grader I homeschool and then a soon to be 3 yr old and 6 week old baby. School takes us about 2 hrs a day but we really only do core subjects and add in history/science/literature with Build Your Library
